CRIME update for July 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the New Basford Police beat area during the month of July.

Burglaries residential = 1

08/07 Pearson Street – 4x males have attempted to break into an address multiple times within the past week.

Criminal damage = 3

07/07 Elson Street – Child has thrown stone at vehicle causing damage.

20/07 Hollis Street – Suspect has snapped part of registration number plate from the vehicle.

23/07 Rosetta Road – Vehicle vandalized whereby silver metallic paint has been put on offside front light to back light.

Theft of motor vehicle = 0

Theft from vehicle = 2

03/07 Silverdale Road – Number of items including bank cards stolen from within.

07/07 Mount Street – Rear passenger window smashed, wallet containing bank cards stolen from within. Bank have messaged victim overnight stating an attempt to use their card was made at an off license and blocked.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
